Rabbi Avi Lebowitz

During his nearly two decades in the Bay Area, Rabbi Avi Lebowitz has dedicated his career to the pursuit of excellence in the education of Jewish law. Rabbi Lebowitz holds a Masters in Education from Johns Hopkins University and was ordained at Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore. A respected and sought after Rabbinic authority, he holds the position of Educational Director at the JSN. Rabbi Lebowitz is renowned for his ability to deliver classes to Jews of all ages and backgrounds and has authored several books, in which he dives into various areas of Talmudic and Jewish Law. He is a certified pediatric mohel, an authority on Jewish divorce, and is passionately committed to his daily early morning Daf Yomi class.
